Position actor/stunt person/director/writer

My name is Zuzi Fort and I am an actor, reporter/journalist as well as an editor and stunt performer and director. I am a live dynamo, a lean mean fighting machine (to use a cliché – they do come in handy). I love life and living it to the fullest, I am an entertainment fanatic, I eat, sleep, drink and breath all there is to know about the arts (of all sorts; the art of living, performing art, martial art, visual, stunt and so on).

I have studied at the University of Western Sydney – Nepean (Drama) and at the University of Technology – Sydney (Communication) majoring in scriptwriting and directing. So this girl has brains too (ok, let me blow my own horn here), as well as stage and camera presence, charisma, intelligence, people find me likable, friendly and they love my sense of humour (I don’t mind making an utter fool o myself). I have great people skills and am not worried or fazed by talking to people.

I am super fit and thrive on a challenge and always make sure my life is filled with fun stuff. I lead an interesting life, meet fascinating people and get into a lot of extreme activities.

But wait there’s more: I am a martial artist, I’ve studied Tae Kwon Do (I am the 1996 South Pacific Tae Kwon Do Champion), Wu Shu, Wing Chung and am currently studying Kung Fu.

I am also a fully qualified and accredited stunt person (SAP) with skills including abseiling, rap-jumping, rock climbing, horse riding, weaponry, etc. I am proficient in most sports such as tennis, skiing, swimming, basic acrobatics, tumbling. I hold a jet ski and a speedboat license, have completed an advance driving course, bronze medallion and have senior first aid certificate.

Apart from the above I have worked as a journalist for a weekly ezine Parramatta On Line, which covered the entire Western Sydney Region. I still work as an actor, which remains my first love, but I also write and direct plays. And my dream is to create a professional western Sydney theatre company and to nurture the arts in our children.

Every one has a skill, a talent, a place to fill; I believe that in my case it is dealing with people, communicating with and to them, using the media, the arts, the entertainment to reach far and wide, to encourage the community spirit and awareness, to make a difference.

Australia has the potential to be the center of a new culture, a growing culture, developing and changing constantly, encouraging new talents to grow and becoming a country where social change is not just a term but a process taking place every day.

This is an exciting time and I would love to be part of it. (Wow, wasn't that serious and deep!)
