youMove has a number of education programs which include performances and workshops for both high school and primary school students, easy and effective workshops for primary school teachers wishing to deliver creative movement in their classrooms and professional development workshops for high school dance teachers.

All members of youMove Company are professional, tertiary trained dancers with the majority holding BA Dance Education degrees as well as recent engagements with leading professional company’s and choreographers.

Works in the performance presented range from Indigenous choreographers to Australian Dance Theatre alumni, to established dance makers.

youMove Company is a professional contemporary dance company that exists to provide:
- performance and presentation opportunities, mentorship and professional development for talented emerging Australian dance artists
- choreographic opportunities for emerging and established dance makers
- culturally significant performances for audiences and
- enriching educational programs for the next generation of dancers, dance makers, dance teachers and dance audiences.

Led by established independent dance artist and Robert Helpmann Scholar, Kay Armstrong, youMove has been in existence since 2009. The company is based in Western Sydney with its activities extending throughout Sydney and Australia.
