Trained at Sydney College of the Arts (now UTS) with BA Interior Design, and qualifications in Ceramics and Bush Regeneration. Simon has worked with leading architects and in areas of industrial design, furniture and graphics, public artwork, ecological interpretation, indigenous landscape restoration in Western Sydney. Furniture design has represented Australia in Talenborse Handwerk Munich and various exhibitions, publications, editorials and located in public acquisitions and private collections.
