The Uprock Christian Hip Hop Summit will include 32 workshops on emceeing, breaking, graff, DJing and leadership, two evening concerts with an exciting line up of performers, plus the Uprock Park Jam festival at the Wiley Park Amphitheatre.
Special guests include Brother E from the Bronx, JustMe from USA, B-girl JK-47 from Canada, The Praying Mantis from UK, and the Urban Groove dance team from Malaysia. Local guests include Solo and Samson from the Justice Crew.
Cost: $150 for the full conference - everything!
Or $80 per day (workshops plus concert)
Or Evening concert - $20 each
Young people can be sponsored for a cost of $100.

9am to 4pm – Conference opening session and workshops
Venue: 76 Lakemba Street Belmore.
Choose 4 workshop sessions out of 16 on offer. Conference streams include emceeing, sound production, graff and breaking, christian teaching and leadership.
7pm to 10pm – Evening concert

Uprock Park Jam - bboy comp and graff display - midday to 5pm

Everyone welcome. Free
Midday to 5pm the Uprock Park Jam with 3 on 3 breaking battles and
popping and locking battles. Prize money is $300 for Next Gen
breakers, $600 for Superfreak breakers and $200 for Poppers and
Lockers. The day will also feature live aerosol art displays from
Kolja and Krosswerdz Artists krew from Melbourne.
No need to book for Sunday.
