Celebrating and showcasing diverse devotional music, the 2012 Sydney Sacred Music Festival will take place across Sydney over the whole month of September. It officially opens with a dawn Whale Dreaming Ceremony of the Yuin and Gadigal People at Balmoral Beach on 1 September.
Presented by the Cultural Arts Collective, the Sydney Sacred Music Festival 2012 showcases music that aims to bring us closer to something real, something inside, if we know how to listen.
The Festival is about providing opportunities for the fantastic artists and traditions of our diverse communities and hopes to build its own community of open minded people who are interested in something larger than themselves.
