SUBMIT: YELLAMUNDIE PLAYWRITING FESTIVAL

Yellamundie, the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Playwriting Festival, is calling for scripts and / or ideas. Submissions close Sunday 29 July!

If you have a finished or unfinished play or a handful of roughly written scenes or a monologue or a solo show or what ever it is ... or if you know someone who has something ... at whatever stage of development ... send it in.  We want to hear from you!!

The festival will feature one play and playwright from every state and territory of Australia including the Torres Strait. The writers will travel to Sydney where for two weeks their plays will be work shopped by a director, dramaturg and actors and then showcased with a reading before an audience of industry professionals, community and general public.

The key aim of this festival is to discover new work and give that work a national audience so that it can have the opportunity of further development and  production.
