Maya Jupiter Is currently creating her second solo album in Los Angeles produced by Chicano-Americans Quetzal Flores & Martha Gonzalez as well as singer/songwriter Aloe Blacc
She released an album with MC Trey and DJ Nick Toth under the name ‘Foreign Heights’ in 2007 which was nominated for an Australian Recording Industry Award (ARIA) in the Best Urban Release category for the track ‘Get Yours (remix)’ Foreign Heights also were nominated for two Australian Urban Music Awards (UMA)
Maya presented & produced 'triple j's hip hop show' between 2005-2009.
As well as a Sat night program on SBS Radio's 'Alchemy' 2002-2005
Maya also Performed and co-wrote hip hop theatre show ‘Survival Tactics’ directed by Morganics and featuring Sista Native, Nick Power, Wire MC and Bboy Jay (www.myspace.com/survivaltacticsonline)
She is currently residing in Los Angeles
