I am a ceramicist with a variety of interests. Until recently I have been specialising in producing translucent porcelain vessels that are lit from within either by candle light or by LEDs. These vessels emit a soft glow when viewed at night or in low lit areas and I am interested in persuing these for use in interior design.
Currently I am working on a private commision of hand made tiles for an architectural project which will eventuate in around 50sq mtrs of handcrafted tiles in a variety of shapes and glazes. I am also a part -time teacher in Ceramics at WSI TAFE Nepean and hold a BA (Visual Arts) and a CERT IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
