Krista Brennan is a freelance artist based in Sydney, Australia. Primarily interested in traditional and realist techniques, she works in a variety of mediums and her portfolio covers portraiture, traditional compositions, illustration and print design.
Krista is currently teaching and studying at the Julian Ashton Art School where she has received the William Dobell Scholarship and is a two-time winner of the Richard and Wenda Ashton Prize for Fine Drawing. In 2010, Krista also won the Castle Hill Art Prize in the Small Painting section, and was a finalist in the prestigious Alice Bale Travelling Scholarship. In 2011 she was a finalist in both the Alice Bale Travelling Scholarship and the Portia Geach Portrait Prize.
