Specialising in anything with a pixel, Jerome studied Digital Media (Video, Graphic, Interactive and Web) at the Design Centre at Enmore before falling asleep in a photographic company matching names and then digital retouching. This didn't last long, as Jerome's love for the computer tasked with creating the pixel took over and almost immediately the drawing tablet was replaced with servers, software and many many cables.
Jerome is the IT and Facilities Officer at Information and Cultural Exchange. He looks after everything with an artificial heartbeat at ICE. He likes hanging out in his little room without a view (server room) and occasionally gets out and wanders around the building fixing things, sometimes even if they aren’t broken. It’s not uncommon to see him in the middle of a DIY project or fixing the coffee machine. If you need to project on a wall or to book some equipment come and see Jerome.
Recently Jerome, with a little help (needed) from his friends, jumped back into the digital world and is now designing, dabling in digital startups, web design and providing it support for friends, family and the wider community.
