I work in acrylic or pastel. The colours of the Australian landscape and my love of music both inspire me. I have a tendancy to paint in traditional realism when using pastels and in more of a contempory style when using acrylic paint. My subject matter explores still life, life drawing, landscapes and portraits. I don't remember a time in my life when I didn't paint or draw. I'm always attracted to vivid colour.
Much of my training over the last 20 years has been with private artist classes or through workshops or college summer schools.
I work mostly from my own studio "Attic Art Studio" and am a member of the Hawkesbury Artists and Artisans Trail.
