Writer, performance artist and facilitator. Has written fifteen produced plays, musicals, a feature film, a novel and three CDs of songs. Jan has taught extensively at writer’s centres, community colleges, universities and writer’s festivals in Australia and Indonesia. Facilitates Write Here Write Now creativity workshops for writers, artists, community organisations and corporations.

Has been Writer in the Community for Hawkesbury Council, a lecturer of Writing and Performance at University of Western Sydney, Bankstown. Plays have been performed at Railway Street Theatre Company and in Blue Mountains.

Jan runs The Writers Journey, which supports writers in all genres through the complex process of creating written work. Highly regarded as a writing tutor in Australia and the Asia Pacific, Writer’s Journey guide, Jan Cornall leads inspirational retreats, workshops and journeys in a range of international locations.

Published and non published, beginners to experienced, artists, thinkers, dreamers, travelers and cultural pilgrims of all kinds are invited to join The Writers Journey.
