Cineclub, The Young Filmmakers Network is a new sustainable filmmaking initiative for primary schools.
We provide a training and support scheme providing schools with a framework in which to set up filmmaking and film watching activities for their students. Cineclub can be used to enrich curriclum subjects and supports the K-6 Key Learning Areas, or it can be run an an after school or lunchtime activity.
We train staff in filmmaking skills and provide comprehensive resources and a term-by-term structure, as well as specialist films to watch and critique in the classroom.
Cineclub's aim is to provide young people with the chance to learn a new creative skill in a practical and enjoyable environment.
