CAMDEN COUNCIL

Located just 60km south west of Sydney, Camden boasts beautiful rural surrounds and the conveniences of modern life. The Platypus image in the Council's logo is a visual expression of the Camden area- a unique and modern symbol that also represents the efforts made by Council towards meeting their goals of becoming an environmentally, culturally, socially and economically sustainable community.

Community Small Grants Program
This program provides funding up to $5,000 per project to support work done by local community organisations based in, or providing events or services for, the Camden Local Government Area (LGA). The Community Small Grants Program is open for application annually in August. For more information contact the Community Project Officer on 02 4645 5020.

Support for Young Persons Special Achievers Program
This program supports gifted and talented young people who live in the Camden LGA through a once-only grant of up to $500 to assist to meet the costs of participation in a cultural, academic or sporting event representing NSW or Australia. Annual Subsidy Program
Through this program Camden Council provides annual subsidies to a number of community organisations in the area. Any eligible group may apply in writing for an annual subsidy. The annual subsidies are considered by Council each year as part of the annual budget process. For more information call 02 4645 5021.

Donations for Charitable Purposes Program
This program provides a clear and consistent process for the determination of requests for one-off monetary and in-kind donations from Council to individuals, community groups or organisations for charitable purposes. For more information call 02 4645 5021.
