Position Designer & Artist
Anna Gardiner is a Theatrical Designer and Artist who graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2008 with a Bachelor in Production and Design. She is currently working on designs for a new musical 'Alice and Alan in Wonderland' to be staged at Slide Bar, Sydney.
Since leaving WAAPA Anna has worked as:
- Production Designer for 'Theatre of Blood' (Newtown Theatre)
- Costume Designer for the Leura Shakespeare Festival and the Sydney Hills Shakespeare in the Park productions of 'Romeo and Juliet' and 'As You Like It' directed by Damien Ryan (Sport for Jove Theatre Company)
- Production Designer for '4Play' at Slide Bar (Blancmange Productions)
- Costume Designer for 'No Way to Treat a Lady' directed by Jason Langley (Neglected Musicals)
- Costume Coordinator for the cast of 'Wicked' for their charity performance of 'Into The Woods' Directed by Kris Stewart (at the Capitol Theatre)
- Costume Designer for 'As You Like It' directed by Jason Langley (The Shakespeare Centre)
- Designer for 'Girl Crazy' (Neglected Musicals) Directed by Nicholas Hammond and starring Rachael Beck and Ian Stenlake
- Costume Designer for 'Rope' directed by Adrian Barnes (Bump In Productions)
- Costume designer for the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, Shakespeare in the Garden production of 'As You Like It' directed by Damien Ryan (Sport for Jove Theatre Company).
