Contemporary painter and teacher. Has taught Arabic and visual arts in schools and for community groups. Has worked on variety of community projects with Indigenous and refugee communities in Western Sydney. Won several awards and held over 20 exhibitions in Australia and overseas. Holds Masters in Textile and Design and Bachelor of Arts (Plastic Arts, Design and Decoration), Academy of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad, Iraq.
